Police Academy

Three blonds were competing for the last available position on the police force.

The detective conducting the interview looked a the three and said “So, you want to be a cop? Good cops must be able to observe and find clues. They must be able to notice such things as distinguishing features and oddities like scars.”

He walked over to a file cabinet and pulled out a folder. He sat back down and pulled out a picture.

He handed it to the first blond and said “by looking at this photo, what can you tell me about the suspect?”

The blond immediately said “he has only one eye!”

The detective shook his head and said “Of course you only see one eye, this is a profile photo! Guess you’re not cut out to be a cop, go home.”

He handed the photo to the second blond. “Notice anything odd or unusual about this man?”

“Yes, he has only one ear!” she said eagerly.

The detective put his head in his hands and said “Didn’t you hear what I told the other candidate?! Of course you only see one ear, this is a profile photo! Guess you’re not cut out to be a cop either, go home.”

The detective turned his attention to the third and last blond. “This is probably a waste of time” he thought as he handed her the photograph. “All right, do you notice anything unusual or distinguishing?”

After staring at the photo, the blond looks up and says “this man wears contact lenses.”

The startled detective looked at the photo, then pulled out other papers from the folder and finally, with a quite puzzled expression on his face said “You’re absolutely right! His personal data says he does wear contact lenses.”

Still not believing her acumen, the detective finally said “How in the world did you tell that just by looking at his picture?”

The blond rolled her eyes and said “Well, hellooooooo, with only one eye and one ear, he certainly can’t wear glasses, can he?!!”
